Harbor Women's Recovery House
Harbor Women’s Recovery House is a transitional living home where women with substance use disorders can reside while they establish themselves in early recovery. With room for eight residents along with a live-in house supervisor, Harbor House provides a safe, structured, and empowering environment where women can heal, rebuild, and reclaim their lives free from substance use. Located conveniently on Route 287 directly across the street from Harbor Counseling’s outpatient treatment facility, Harbor House offers easy access to a very intense treatment program.

Our women’s recovery home is intentionally small, fostering a warm sense of community and camaraderie while allowing for personalized attention and care. Each resident is valued as an individual and is met with respect, compassion, and the unwavering belief that lasting change is possible.

Licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs in 2023, Harbor House accepts women returning from inpatient rehabilitation or incarceration and allows them to safely transition back into society. The treatment program they participate in provides intensive outpatient (IOP) substance use disorder treatment and recovery support services, such as assistance with obtaining GEDs, obtaining driver’s licenses, resume writing, job searches, and any other needs that are identified on the client’s individual recovery plan. The typical client stays in Harbor House for 6-9 months, until they are employed and are able to obtain their own housing.
