Harbor Men’s Recovery House is a transitional living home where men with substance use disorders can reside while they establish themselves in early recovery. Our spacious facility accommodates up to ten men, balancing privacy with opportunities for connection. Residents enjoy comfortable bedrooms, shared living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and indoor and outdoor spaces for recreation. Harbor House arranges transportation for easy access to a very intense treatment program at Harbor Counseling, which is only 1.5 miles away.

At Harbor Recovery House, we believe that recovery is not a solitary path, but a collaborative process grounded in compassion, accountability, and community. Our mission is to empower men to overcome the obstacles of addiction and rediscover their purpose, equipping them with the tools and support needed to thrive in sobriety. We understand that every individual arrives with a unique story, and our approach honors each resident’s dignity, strengths, and potential.

Licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs in 2025, Harbor House accepts men returning from inpatient rehabilitation or incarceration and allows them to safely transition back into society. The treatment program they participate in provides intensive outpatient (IOP) substance use disorder treatment and recovery support services, such as assistance with obtaining GEDs, obtaining driver’s licenses, resume writing, job searches, and any other needs that are identified on the client’s individual recovery plan. The typical client stays in Harbor House for 6-9 months, until they are employed and are able to obtain their own housing.
